Belgian adventure comics from the late 1930's are WHERE IT'S AT!!!

I have a friend who, whenever she sees something spectacular, says, "That's what I stand for in art." It's a funny, almost hyperbolically dramatic way of endorsing something, and I like it.

Me, I think I stand for comics. And ripping of Herge's colors. I stand for that, too.
What do YOU stand for? Tell us!

I stand for food, to go to the bathroom, and sometimes to take a walk and think.

Other than that I mostly sit for art. But I guess when I'm in the bathroom I'm sitting, too, but most of the time I stand when I eat.

I stand for the lazy-ass artist who also obsesses over being true to the line.
