I was almost finished coloring the Spider Man I promised you all when the power went out on me and destroyed the file. Which is not so great a tragedy-- I didn't much like it, anyway.
So you get real work instead.

There will not be a Fanart Friday next week, because I will be attending WonderCon in San Francisco with my friends, Thi and Jared.
And there may not be a lot of Fanart Friday for a while.
I've kept the game up for some time now, but it's getting a little stale for me (I didn't even want to post this week's mediocre offering) and I want to use my free time to turn out a few short comics I've got bouncing around in my head...
Also, I'm BURIED under work right now.
I'll definitely post one now and again, but I can't maintain it as a weekly occurrence anymore. Can we all be cool with that?
Yes. Yes we can. Less fanart, more comics. Change you can believe in.

Gorgeous environmental panel Jake, and thank so much for participating as long and as frequently AWESOME as you have been with fanart fridays. Hope you guys have a blast at WonderCon, and I am VERY EXCITED TO SEE THIS NEW COMIC YOU SPEAK OF! So excited that the cap button got away from me.
I'm gonna guess...DARGER! And while I have been a huge fan of your fanart, I too am excited to see the new comics! But if you get antsy for something off task to do, make yerself a HOPE poster with your face on it. I'll buy that.
Sweet stuff Jake, I can't get enough of seeing home (HI) in your style.
on another note, an earlier post you did: The Machine Stops, I can't stop jumping back to that image, its so cool. How would a close up of a character in that style and coloring look?
About a week or so before this post I remember thinking, "wow! Jake's been really consistant with this fanart Friday thing. Hats off to him."
I suppose if you keep posting every week that would be just as good. Your stuff just keeps getting better man.
I kind of want this to have some hidden pictures in it.
